I love the part where Larry tries to cover up his slip by saying he hadn’t mistaken Ringo for George but that he was instead leading into his next question, which was about where they were when they heard George had died. Ah, yeah right Larry. Here’s the second best exchange of the night:

Ringo: “He’s still the most melodic bass player on the planet.”
King: “What does that mean?”
Ringo: “That he’s melodic.”
