Normally I wouldn’t comment on a story as pedestrian as a couple of West Virginia athletes getting arrested, however, this little snippet from the ESPN story caught my eye.

Thomas is a 6-foot-2, 200-pound redshirt freshman linebacker whose father played linebacker for the Mountainers from 1994-95.

This kid’s dad was playing college football only 12 years ago making him what, 12/13 years old, when he fathered this kid. Typical West Virginia behavior.
