As a Browns fan it pains me to admit that the franchise has reached a new low. They are truly awful, perhaps worse than last year if you can believe it. Yesterday it appeared that Romeo Crennel was openly trying to become the first NFL coach fired during a game. Yanking your starting QB in the 2nd quarter of the first game? Four penalties on one play? As the Crennel era starts to close ponder this, he is now 1-12 against the AFC North. Is there another coach in the NFL who can match that in their own division?
I was stunned Frye was pulled. I’m sure he was also, and I’m also sure his agent has been told to find a way out of Cleveland for him. Why don’t they just put Quinn in now? It’s what they’re going to do anyway. Yes, the Browns are closing in on the #1 pick in next year’s Draft.
Actually Dallas is closing in on the #1 pick since they own the Browns pick (thanks to the Quinn deal).
This is true. They don’t even have the pick for themselves. Based on Week One, I’m thinking the Cowboys will be going defense with that selection!
The Cowboys have gone defense for the last 3 years.. Look what happened when they went for offense.. we got Julius Jones *sigh* Flip side of that coin is with passing on Jackson, for Jones.. and a trade we were able to get Ware.. which is a manbeast.. and Spears.. which.. well.. umm..can you say bust??
